Art, inspiration, extraordinaire, passion, love, warmth, raw beauty, style, laughter, fun, care, tea, pies, etc. These are the things that keep on visiting my mind while I am brainstorming on how to deliver my thought about our two unique soon to be married friends: Lika and Roland. Surely, all of the words above will find their own spots in my tribute to this amazing couple. But at this exact moment, I want to move your attention to a Beatles song which has been inspiring me for a while:
There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I’ve loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
Though I remember I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I’ll love you more
In my life I’ll love you more
Just like this song inspires me to take beautiful photographs, Lika finds her inspiration in art. She is an artist extraordinaire, who loves creating beautiful art. She draws, sculpts and shapes subjects she loves. Among them is one high priority subject: her love to Roland…

These two love bugs met a Russian tea party many years ago. Lika said that Roland was popular among girls who attended the party, but she wasn’t one of them. She didn’t think she would fall for him at all. But he found the right words, made the right moves and found the right way to approach her. Tea turned into exchanging of phone numbers, SMS messages turned into phone calls, phone calls turned into dates, dates turned into a long distance relationship.
Then, Lika had to leave the US to study art design in Moscow. Long distance relationships are hard, but not for Roland and Lika. In fact, with large phone bills, their love only grew stronger!![]()
Here they are, now getting engaged and about to get married next month. While I was shooting their photographs with my husband, we both cheered for this beautiful couple to join our ranks of happily married. The energy in the air was just so light and fluffy. Colors were colliding, helping us to create amazing pictures of this fabulous couple. We wish for you guys to carry this energy forward, throughout your lives. We regret that we cannot attend your wedding in Lithuania, but I am sure we will do something fun when you get back!

Lika is a natural beauty. She had no make up and it just was so in tune with absolutely RAW beauty of the nature! Loved it!

They are pros at making funny faces. On top of that I was babbling something, apparently making everyone laugh![]()

Isn’t she a true modelesque?!

How about some fist fighting on top of everything else we can do, says Roland in this shot
Roland, you are actually not very well protected there. That one fist can go right into your chin![]()

We finished the photo shoot on a nice relaxed note. It was a remarkable experience to take pictures of both of you! Thank you for giving us this opportunity!
