OK, Fellas! I have a lot of pictures today. Just because these fantabulous people are our very good friends, I decided to go over the limits imposed by my husband. I am also planning to post the second part from this exact wedding. Frankly, I had so many favorites, it was hard enough to narrow it down to this post.
Nasim met Artem while studying at the University of Colorado at Boulder. They lived at the same dorm but didn’t know that they both spoke Russian for quite some time!
Anastasia and Artem met online, just like me and my husband
But they quickly realized that they met each other once before at a party organized by Nasim! Nastya has a picture to prove it. Coincidence anyone? Or maybe plain destiny…
Anastasia and Artem planned a fabulous wedding up in Georgetown, Colorado. I loved every single detail of the Rainbow Ranch with all the wolves, too! No picture of the wolves this time, but I have a lot of nifty decor from the Ranch.

Loved the Cakes!!!

Rad gals getting ready along with Anastasia!

Here Artem is getting beaten up by his best men for getting married earlier than them! After-all, they came to a consensus that all of them will get leashed sooner or later. I am sure Artem probably convinced them that they should enjoy their bachelor life while they still can![]()

Wolves are on the other side!

This is the first time I’ve seen a sand ceremony.
Happily married and celebrating![]()

After the ceremony, the newlyweds got on a raft and sailed away letting Nasim take some good shots.
Work it beautiful!

Oh yeah, Artem is getting a taste of being a married man, I guess, xoxo!
Great job with the Waltz guys, you rocked it!

For now I will leave you with this final image. We wish both Anastasia and Artem happiness in their new lives as husband and wife!

Bekhzod - Beautiful pictures! Great photography! By the way, what’s the meaning of sand caremony?
Miruna - Hello!I have a question for you…What kind of lenses did you use? Those pictures are gorgeous!
Kind regards,
Miruna
Anastasia - The meaning of the Sand ceremony is that bride and groom are uniting their lives from two different vessels or walks of life into a single unity as a family and if there is a disagreement to ever arise, each party should take their own sand from the jar( which is close to impossible). The origin of the sand ceremony is a salt covenant, when in old old days people would seal the agreement with mixing of the salt.
